Blow Up! Inflatable Sculpture and Wearable Art

by on Jun.22, 2010, under things we did

Within the Blow Up! activity area, attendees design unique 3D digital sculpture, furniture, or wearable art for transfer to 2D pattern layouts, using software such as Pepakura. The patterns can then be cut, assembled, and inflated to be admired, sat upon, or worn. Be creative and blow it up!

    Courtney, Alison, Ryan and Matt,
I enjoyed your inflatables demo as well as some of the paper engineering I saw. I’m having a little trouble finding the pattern-making software called stuffed – do you have a link that you wouldn’t mind sharing?
I was also hoping you could give me the name of the paper-engineering book that was at your worktable. I tried to photo the title in a blur of excitement, but can’t make it out.

    Thanks!

    Ann
